Volunteering with Sethu Foundation
Volunteering has become a socially desirable and personally satisfying activity for many persons who are getting disillusioned with the superficiality and hypocrisy of modern life. Volunteering provides them with a space, wherein, they reach out to others in the community and society and engage in selfless services which suits their aptitude and in some measure fulfills their inner urge to do some good beyond themselves.
Sethu Foundation provides enormous opportunities to all volunteers to participate and contribute in our activities.
Our programs in Children's education through Chetna, through Women's programs Alaigal, e- commerce platform Kalpavriksha's Shop and Donate, Urban Farming initiatives, Events and Campaigns etc require large numbers of volunteers from diverse backgrounds and experiences. We require volunteers who are genuinely interested in participating and making a meaningful contribution to our programs.
Therefore, do not restrain yourself by analysing whether you will fit in as a volunteer or not, but feel free to contact us and tell us about your desire to volunteer and we assure you that we shall find some meaningful role for you in one of our programs.
You don’t need any formal qualification or work experience, you are welcome to join with a desire to work and with good intentions. To join as a volunteer, contact us by submitting the duly filled application form for volunteering.
No Minimum or maximum age for volunteering.
Volunteers will be given a certificate for their volunteering period.
